After years of creating unforgettable birthday memories, we’ve found that 45 minutes is the perfect length of time to keep little ones fully engaged and enchanted! It allows us to focus on the most magical and memorable moments—like photos, keepsakes, songs, and activities—without overwhelming young attention spans. Whether our character is the star of the show or a special surprise guest, this time frame fits seamlessly into any celebration! ✨🎉
Every visit is tailored to the birthday child and their guests! We choose activities based on the age range, the energy in the room, and most importantly—what the birthday child wants to do! Have something special in mind? Just let us know!
Princesses & Fairytale Friends may lead singing, dancing, interactive storytime or a classic read-aloud, and magical games.
Heroes will jump into action with hero training, story adventures, and exciting games to save the day!
Princess/Fairytale Characters will gift the birthday child a mini crystal tiara; Heroes will gift the birthday child a plastic hero medal. Keepsakes can be upgraded by request. Custom keepsakes may be available for unique characters, by request.
We recommend having the Character's Grand Entrance take place at least 30 minutes after your party start time – this allows enough time for everyone to arrive (and incase anyone is running late), and is early enough in the party to hold the children's attention and excitement!
Only if your party location is more than 60 miles roundtrip from our Rochester or Syracuse headquarters! This small fee helps cover the extra time our cast members spend traveling to and from your celebration to make the magic happen. We promise—it’s always worth the miles to bring a fairytale to your front door! If needed, the mileage fee will be clearly listed as a separate line on your invoice 🚗💫
Cancellations: In the event the Client should cancel prior to (28) days before the event, all payments made after deposit and 50% of the deposit, will be reimbursed. If the Client cancels within (28) days of the event all payments made after deposit will be reimbursed, the deposit will be non-refundable but transferable to a future date. If the client fails to pay the remaining balance at least (7) days prior to the event, the event request will be canceled and the entire deposit is non-refundable and non transferable to a future date.
Reschedule: If the Client chooses to cancel due to severe weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstance the Client may reschedule the event based on availability. In the case of severe weather, illness or unforeseen circumstance resulting in performer absence on the day of the event, Royal Promise Productions reserves the right to reschedule your event based on availability. If Royal Promise Productions and/or the Client is unable to reschedule, a refund of payments made after deposit will be distributed. Deposits are non-refundable for rescheduling, but may be transferable up to (365) days from your original event date. The Client is granted (1) reschedule opportunity. Upon use of their (1) reschedule opportunity, the Client will be responsible for upholding the event continuation on the agreed rescheduled date. Reschedule date must be scheduled and agreed upon within (28) days of request for rescheduling.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Liability: Royal Promise Productions will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind or character to any person or property caused by or arising from any act or omission of the Client, or any of his guests, invitees, employees or other agents from any accident or causality occasioned by the failure of the Client to maintain the premises in a safe condition or arising from any other cause. The Client, as a material part of the consideration of this agreement, hereby waives on its behalf all claims and demands against Royal Promise Productions for any such loss, damage, or injury of the Client, and hereby agrees to indemnify and hold Royal Promise Productions free and harmless from all liability for any such loss, damage or injury to other persons, and from all costs and expenses arising there from, including but not limited to attorney fees.
Accomodations: Proper accommodations will be provided to the Cast Members of Royal Promise Productions. If hosting an outdoor event, a shaded area must be provided by the Client for the entire duration of the Performers’ participation. If rain occurs and the event has been scheduled outdoors, it is the responsibility of the Client to arrange for an indoor event or the entertainment will be canceled without refund of deposit. A reschedule date can be accommodated based on availability. For extreme heat and cold, we recommend holding your party indoors. For temperatures higher than 80 degrees or lower than 40 degrees, indoor, climate controlled accommodations must be made for the Character Performers. Some characters are prohibited from entertaining outdoor events. If you have booked one of these characters and hold your event outdoors under extreme heat conditions, your party will be canceled or will be rescheduled indoors. Activities may be affected depending on the conditions.
Safety: In the event that the Performer/Assistant feels unsafe, they will address the issue with the Client. If the issue is not resolved immediately, the Performer/Assistant will leave without any consolation or refund to the Client. We reserve the right to leave at any time due to safety concerns without any consolation or refund. This includes, but is not limited to: language, smoking, aggressive behavior towards or near the Performer/Assistant including punching, hitting, kicking, pulling hair, pushing, biting, yelling, throwing objects, pulling at costumes, and more.
Damage: The Client may be held responsible for any damage deemed excessive and/or intentional to costumes and property of Royal Promise Productions during the Client’s event. The cost to replace/repair damaged/broken costumes or materials will be billed to the Client.
Smoking: The costumes and property of Royal Promise Productions are very valuable and will not be subject to smoke of any kind which can damage the costume and injure Performers/Assistants. If a guest is seen smoking at your party, the Client is expected to assure that the guest stops immediately.
Pets: All pets, with the exception of service animals, must be contained away from the party area.
Activities: All included activities are listed on the website and available upon request. Unless there is a written request for alternative activity options, the Performer(s) will perform the Package Activities listed under your party package. A Performer may alter activities if he/she sees the need during the party. Royal Promise Production’s cast are trained to ensure most children are engaging; if children are not engaged in an activity the Performer may switch activities to accommodate the childrens’ focus. If the Client is providing alternate forms of entertainment such as bounce houses, swimming, waterslides, etc. the performer and assistant will not engage with/participate in those activities.
Participation: Royal Promise Productions’ Performers and Assistants are responsible for the flow of the event and activities. The Client is required to be present for the event and is responsible for monitoring disruptive behavior and attending to any guest who does not want to participate. If a child or guest attending the event is being disruptive past a reasonable point the Performer and/or Assistant, the Performer and/or Assistant have permission to change the party activities as needed OR to ask an adult at the event to escort the disruptive behavior away from the activities.
Timing: We recommend characters’ arrival to start at least 30 minutes after the event has started and guests have arrived. The Royal Promise Productions performer and assistant will be on the premises prior to the requested start time and will begin their appearance at their exact requested start time. If the Client is not ready for them to begin when they arrive, the Client can request the performer and assistant to wait until Client is ready. However, the performer and assistant will still be required to leave at the designated end time.
In the event of an unforeseen circumstance resulting in Performer/Assistant tardiness, the Performer/Assistant will make their entrance as soon as possible and stay for the 45 minute period starting at the time of their entrance. As a consolation for the late arrival, a personalized video message from the character(s) will be provided to the Client following the event.
Copyrights & Permissions
Copyrights: It is not the intention of Royal Promise Productions to violate any copyright or trademark laws; we make every effort to differentiate our characters from all trademarked, licensed or copyrighted characters by using unique names and custom designed costumes based upon popular fairy tale stories/characters that are out of copyright in the public domain. Any resemblance to copyrighted, licensed, or trademarked characters is completely coincidental. By booking with Royal Promise Productions you hereby affirm that you are aware that we do not represent nor offer any licensed, copyrighted or trademarked characters at our event.
If Client decides to produce promotions or advertisements that violate copyright and/or trademark laws, any legal actions and/or lawsuits against the promotions/advertisements utilizing those copyrights will be the responsibility of the Client. If Client’s action in utilizing copyrights or trademarks results in Royal Promise Production’s loss in inventory, supplies, costumes, wigs, etc, the Client hereby agrees to cover any and all financial loss and agrees to indemnify and hold Royal Promise Productions free and harmless from all liability for any such loss and from all costs and expenses arising there from.

Photography/Video Consent
Photo/Video Consent: By booking with Royal Promise Productions you agree to give consent to Royal Promise Productions, and its authorized representatives, granting them permission to photograph and/or video record during your event. You further agree that all photographs and materials recorded may be used in any form, as part of any future publication, video, brochure and or other printed material for promoting Royal Promise Productions.You and your heirs hereby release Royal Promise Productions and its successors from any liability whatsoever related to these materials and they acknowledge that these materials may be used without any payment of fees, royalties, credit given to your name, or any other compensation.
Photo Release: Any photos taken are hereby signed as release to be used by Royal Promise Productions for website, social media, and promotional use.
Risks of Exposure
By participating in this event, you acknowledge that the risk of exposure to communicable diseases, including Covid-19, exists in any public place where you are exposed to other people. By purchasing any celebration or event package, you and all guests in your party voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to communicable diseases, including Covid-19. You hereby assume all risk of bodily injury, illness and death, resulting from your participation in this event's activities. You, your guests, your spouse/partner, your heirs, successors, executors, administrators or anybody else who might claim on your behalf, hereby release, waive, indemnify and forever discharge Royal Promise Productions and any affiliates, directors, owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers and any organization associated with this event from any and all liability, claims of negligence, for any disease, death, illness or injury.
By utilizing services, you specifically release Royal Promise Productions and their successors from any claims or liabilities of any kind whatsoever, arising from or related to your participation in these activities.
Payment and Agreement Policies

Deposit: The total cost for services provided by Royal Promise Productions will be based upon Client’s package selection. The deposit listed in your invoice is calculated to cover admin work and performer reservation, and will be required in order to reserve your event date/time. If the deposit is not received within 72 hours, the request will be canceled and the date/time will be given to the next interested booking. Payment of the remaining balance is due seven (7) days prior to the event. Deposits are non-refundable.
Additional Time: Client understands that a timely departure is necessary in order for the performer to safely commute to her or his next event. If a Client wishes a performer to stay longer than the booked time, the Client must speak to our Royal Promise Assistants (RPA) with their request. Staying additional time is at the discretion of the performer and the company’s availability. You will be invoiced for the additional time with an additional $50 fee.
Breach: Royal Promise Productions shall have the right to terminate this contract if the Client fails to meet or violates any terms of the contract, in which case the provisions of this cancellation policy also apply. The client shall not assign or sub-lease any terms, conditions or services contained in this contract or any interest therein without the written consent of Royal Promise Productions. Any breach in this contract automatically constitutes a cancellation of your party/event and any and all payments made to Royal Promise Productions will be forfeited by the client.
The Client shall not make any changes to this contract, any changes made or requested will be denied as Royal Promise Productions will not allow exceptions.
Agreement: Payment of any kind from client to Royal Promise Productions indicates agreement to the terms and conditions in this document.
